Editable content areas of “publication” type in edit mode will be displayed as WYSIWYG-editor. Visual editor in SAPID has all capabilities of MS Explorer Design Mode and some additional. You can see three buttons under editable area: «+», «HTML», «Clean code».

«Clean code» button can be used to clean out HTML inserted into editor from any HTML formatting.

«HTML» button is a switch between Design Mode and Code View of WYSIWYG editor content.

Notice If you use a Gecko-based browser (Firefox, Netscape, Mozilla), you need to press F7 for turning on of the cursor in visual editing mode.

Additional Panel Functions

•  Font – select a font for selected fragment
•  Alignment – set rules of alignment for selected fragment
•  Spacing –increase (+) or decrease (-) spacing for selected fragment
•  List – transform selected fragment to list
•  Insert file – open “Insert file” dialog.
•  Insert link – open ”Insert link” dialog.
•  Insert image – open “Insert image” dialog

“Insert image” Dialog

To insert image you should select image file (Possible image formats are .GIF/.BMP/.JPG/.PNG/.SWF). Also you can define alternative text for this image, image alignment, border width, horizontal and vertical spacing.

If you wish to add an images from the number of images, which added on the site before, you ought to switch on mode to “My Site” in top window's menu.

A Gallery Creation

If you wish to create gallery element (It means an icon. If you click this one, a popup window with the related big image will appear), you should select “Create icon” checkbox. You can point to size of icon after this. In this case a copy of the image will be created with the declared size and a Java-script code of the popup window will be added.
